Kristina Dalton About Me Page at Helium

Kristina Dalton About Me Page at Helium

Her work has involved the preparation of digital maps, creating databases, conducting geographic information system GIS analysis, as well as producing high quality end products in the form of graphics, maps, custom posters and illustrations. Her experience ranges from civil engineering projects to geological and environmental mapping. She spent over 10 years in the mining industry drafting geological and mechanical drawings, survey plats, assay and topographic maps and mine workings.

Many of her maps and illustrations have been published. She has also written a chapter on Using GIS in Cultural and Natural Resources for Urban Planning and Development Applications of GIS, sponsored by the American Society of Civil Engineers.

Kristina currently owns her own business and resides in southeastern Arizona. She and her husband enjoy riding and training their six horses, hiking and gardening.

At last our dreams had been realized! The twenty acre slice of Arizona heaven was finally ours. A place where my horse could stretch his legs and I could indulge in a garden with no limits. My tomatoes could have space enough to grow real roots, not having to circle around within the confines of clay plots. I could now grow plants that needed vast expanses of space instead of growing city crops of midgets, minis and micros. No longer would my garden look like an elevator compartment exceeding the maximum occupancy. My husband could get a real tractor, with real barns. It was joy uncontaine..
